Rocket Technologies Inc. ("Rocket", "we", "us", or "our") is built on the principle of uncompromising privacy. We believe that your digital life is your business, not ours. This Privacy Policy outlines our strict data handling practicesâwhich are designed to minimize data collection to the absolute bare essentials required for transport.
Unlike conventional messaging platforms, Rocket does not collect, store, or have access to:
Every single interaction on Rocket is protected by military-grade, post-quantum resistant end-to-end encryption. The keys required to decrypt your messages are generated and stored exclusively on your device. Rocket does not possess the technical capability to decrypt your data.
Your account is identified by a unique, randomly generated cryptographic Public Key. This ID is not linked to any real-world identity. You are represented by a hash, not a person.
Your entire message history, media, and encryption keys are stored exclusively in your device's local secure enclave. We do not provide cloud backups, as doing so would compromise the security model. If you lose your device, your data is permanently lostâthis is a deliberate security feature.
Since we do not store your data, "deleting" your data simply involves clearing your local app storage or uninstalling the application. There are no "online accounts" to deactivate.
We cannot share what we do not have. In the event of a legal request, we will transparently state that our architecture makes it technically impossible to provide message contents or user identities.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us through our official channels.
